Forty years.

Three Pulitzer Prize nominees.

More than 1,500 graduates.

Hundreds of awards for writing, reporting, journalism, broadcasting, public relations, marketing, and all other areas of public communication.

As the Morrisville College Journalism Department introduces its first four-year degree, this book looks back on its origins as one of the top two-year college journalism programs in the country.

It is a history as diverse and colorful as the cast of characters--students and faculty alike--who have inhabited our classrooms.

We, the students and faculty of the Morrisville State College Journalism Department, have covered leaders and losers, presidents and celebrities. We were there at every major world event since 1970. We documented the most important stories of our time.

Compiled and edited by alumni Nancy Cardillo, Frank Eltman and Jim Johnson (and originally Nancy's idea), this is our own story--in our own words.
